Article Removal

Taqrib: Journal of Islamic Education Studies committed to maintaining the continuity and integrity of the scientific record. Deletion of articles (article removal) is a very limited action and is only carried out if the existence of an article in the publication system can give rise to serious problems, especially those related to legal aspects, ethics, or protection of certain parties.

1. Article Removal Conditions

Articles may be considered for removal from the journal page if:

  • There are legal issues that require the article to no longer be publicly available;
  • The article contains information that may endanger someone's safety or privacy;
  • There is a serious violation of copyright or intellectual property rights;
  • The article was published based on very serious ethical violations;
  • There are other circumstances that specifically require the removal of articles based on legal considerations or publication policies.

2. Deletion Process

Requests or requests for article deletion will be reviewed by the Editor-in-Chief and the editorial team. Authors or interested parties may submit requests, providing sufficient justification and supporting evidence.

Deletions are not made based solely on unilateral requests without justifiable reasons. Every decision will take into account the interests of readers, the rights of authors, the public interest, and the integrity of the scientific record.

3. Publication Record

If deletion is absolutely necessary, the Taqrib: Journal of Islamic Education Studies will attempt to retain the minimum bibliographic information about the article, such as title, author(s), volume, number, and year of publication, whenever possible.

The article page may contain a notification that the article has been removed from public access along with the reason for the removal, as long as the information can be legally published.
