Change of Authorship
Taqrib: Journal of Islamic Education Studies implements a transparent authorship policy to ensure that every author listed has genuinely contributed to the article. Changes to the authorship after submission must be made carefully and with the consent of all authors.
1. Change of Authorship
Requests to add, remove, or change the order of authors may only be made if there is a clear and justifiable reason. Requests for changes must be submitted by the corresponding author to the editor, explaining the reason for the change.
Any changes must obtain written approval from all authors, including those who are added, removed, and those who remain listed in the article.
2. Time for Submitting Changes
Authorship changes should be made before the article is finalized. Once an article has been accepted for publication, authorship changes can only be considered in special circumstances and must be approved by the Editor-in-Chief.
While the authorship change process is ongoing, the editorial process or publication of the article may be delayed until the authorship issue is resolved.
3. Author's Responsibility
All authors are responsible for ensuring that the authorship is correct from the time the manuscript is first submitted. All authors listed must have made significant contributions to the research or drafting of the article and approved the final version of the manuscript.
Makrifat: Journal of Islamic Studies does not permit the inclusion of names as guest authors, gift authors, or honorary authors, nor does it permit the omission of the names of authors who substantially contribute to the research.
4. Editor's Decision
The editor reserves the right to request evidence or clarification if there is a dispute regarding authorship. If the authors cannot reach an agreement, the journal may delay the publication process until the issue is resolved by the appropriate authorities.
The Taqrib: Journal of Islamic Education Studies strives to ensure that any changes in authorship are carried out fairly, transparently, and in accordance with the principles of academic integrity.
